Explanation

Yemen has hundreds of miles of sand dunes. The highest dunes can be found in the desert around Marib and on the edge of the Empty Quarter. Yemeni Dreams can help you discover the joy of skiing or sand boarding in these remote areas.

Yemeni Dreams uses high- end equipment and its staff can instruct you in the art of sand skiing. Yemeni Dreams is the only tour operator in Yemen that offers sand skiing.

Sand skiing was brought to Yemen by Borut Zajc, a Slovenian Adventure Hunter, in 2006. Yemeni Dreams organized his tour and he in turn taught members of the Yemeni Dreams staff how to ski the dunes.

Cerastes cerastes is a venomous viper species native to the deserts of Northern Africa and parts of the Middle East. They are ore often easily recognized by the presence of a pair of supraocular horns, although hornless individuals do occur.
