"Playing For Change Day is a creative day of action that uses the universal power of music to create positive social change. Musicians from all over the world perform on stages, street corners, schools, yoga studios, and cafes to bring music into the lives of young people. "

In 2011, PFC Day had 225 amazing events in 41 countries on six continents sharing the love! We raised over $68,000 which is now supporting our programs in Nepal for one year; it also helps fund our teachers in three schools in Africa which serve more than 400 kids every week, as well as provides some of the costs to run these schools.
